Quarter 1 2021 Market Report Lake Tahoe and Truckee
The 2021 Quarter 1 Market Report for Truckee and Lake Tahoe continues to show record breaking sales activity. Knowing about the new Coming Soon status has become very important when searching for available homes for sale. Most properties are getting offers simultaneously with becoming Active on the market.
For all areas of North Lake Tahoe, the Quarter 1-2021 report show that there were 362 Units Sold compared to only 206 for this time last year. Sales Volume was at $602.5 million compared to $192 million for the same period last year. Just in Truckee, there were 160 units sold compared to 127 units in 2020 and the median price rose from $740K to $1.2 million.
On the North and West Shore of Lake Tahoe, 80 units sold First Quarter 2021, compared to only 48 in 2020. The Median Price rose from $675K last year to $999.5K this year. Sales were evenly split with 40 homes sold over $1 million.
