2023 Tahoe City Food and Wine Classic
2023 will mark the 16th anniversary of the Tahoe City Food and Wine Classic. Enjoy an afternoon of joining friends and meeting neighbors as you stroll through downtown Tahoe City. Taste wines from California’s wineries, sample delicious appetizers from local restaurants, and visit the charming shops that overlook beautiful Lake Tahoe.
This event features the tastiest wines and ales paired with the most delicious food bites. The Tahoe City Food and Wine Classic benefits the Tahoe City community and helps support its local businesses. They are still accepting volunteers, sponsors and vendors for this event.
Festivities will begin with a pre-party on Friday, June 9th from 5:30 – 7:30 at a Grab Your Glass event at Boatworks Mall. This is an opportunity to get your wristbands and tasting glass for the Saturday event. Guests will enjoy Live Music, a Maker’s Mart featuring local artisans and hors d’ oeuvres from many Boatworks restaurants.
On Saturday June 10th from 1pm to 4pm, over 30 vendors will feature their wines, craft beers and artisan foods. Vendors include Tahoe Wine Collective, Tahoe National Brewing Company, Za’s Lakefront, the Weibel Family Winery, Mendocino Wine Company, Cass Winery among others.
Tahoe City is located on the North shore of Lake Tahoe and offers the perfect ambiance for an afternoon of wine tasting. Tickets are now on sale through Eventbrite and cost $65 for general admission and $25 for a designated driver, plus the processing fee. There are a limited number of tickets available, so make sure to get them while they last!
Guests must be 21 and older to purchase a ticket. If you miss the Friday pre-event, check-in will begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday and will be located at two locations: Boatworks Mall & The Old Fire Station (Siren Arts Building).
At Check-in, you will receive your glass, wristband, and a map of the pouring locations. There will be tables, shade tents, decorations, and loads of people at the registration location so it will be easy to spot! After registration, enjoy an afternoon of tasting and discovering all that Tahoe City has to offer! Ticket holders must arrive at registration before 3:00 pm to participate.
