The week leading up to Christmas at Lake Tahoe is forecast to have a few snow storms roll through. This year, you can ski and ride during the holidays before enjoying time with the family.

North Lake Tahoe and Truckee Holiday Dining
On the North shore, both Garwoods and Caliente will have holiday specials and Happy Hour pricing is now in full swing. At Caliente in Kings Beach, their Happy Hour is everyday from 4 to 5pm. Enjoy 30% off Tacos, Tequila & more! They have extended Happy Hour Sat, and Sun from 3-5pm. Thursdays are Chupacabra Thursdays, Chupacabras are discounted all night long. Garwoods offers dining right on beautiful Lake Tahoe. This Christmas 2023, they will be serving a choice of Chilean Sea Bass, Smoked Koji Aged Strip Steak or Slow Roasted Prime Rib. They will also have a New Years dinner with live music and champagne at midnight. More information.

Snowshoe Tour & Dinner at Alpine Meadows
On December 22nd and 27th, Alpine Meadows will feature a guided snowshoe tour to the mid-mountain Chalet at with a four course Bavarian inspired meal. All guests will receive a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival, and hand selected wine pairings with each course. Of course, Bavarian beer and wine will be available for purchase. Snowshoes are provided free of charge. (21+ only)

Bar of America Christmas & New Year's Eve Dinner
The iconic Bar of America is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Truckee. This year, they will feature a Christmas Eve weekend brunch, two Christmas seatings and New Year's Eve dinner specials.
