Holiday Events North Lake Tahoe 2021
We are keeping our fingers crossed for a white Christmas at Lake Tahoe! Forecasters are predicting a few winter weather systems to come through our area over the next week. Many ski resorts have been making snow, so this should officially begin the 2021/2022 ski season.
If you are spending the holidays in the mountains, be sure to check out these festive holiday events at North Lake Tahoe for 2021.
Ski with Santa at Homewood Mountain Resort
December 18th-24th 9am-2pm
Santa will be riding in with the snow and he is landing at Homewood Mountain Resort prior to delivering presents on Christmas Eve. And yes, he’s bringing his snowboard! Be on the lookout for a skiing Santa Claus as he brings holiday cheer to the slopes at Homewood from 9am – 2 pm Dec. 18th & 24th. If you see him, be sure to stop and ask for a photo or a gift from his Christmas bag.

THE HOLIDAY CLASSIC RETURNS TO THE TAHOE CITY STAGE!
December 17th, 18th and 19th
The Lake Tahoe Dance Collective returns to the North Tahoe High School on December 17th and 19th for its performance of The Nutcracker. Special guest stars include Allison Walsh (Joffrey Ballet, Star of Broadway’s ‘An American in Paris) and Stephen Hanna (formerly New York City Ballet.)
Book your seats today as space is limited. Performance is at the North Tahoe High School, in Tahoe City.

Bring the Family to the New Year's Eve Light Parade and Fireworks Show

Come join the Tahoe Donner community for a fun, family-friendly celebration to ring in the New Year at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort. After a great day on the mountain, enjoy the popular Light Parade followed by the annual Fireworks Show. Warm up next to the outdoor firepits and enjoy hot toddies, hot cocoa and more. Stick around for the fireworks and help us ring in the New Year!
A fun event for intermediate skiers and riders ages 10 or older who can ski or ride unassisted in the dark on our Race Course Run. Come early to secure a spot!
Sign-ups: 4:30-5:45PM | Snowbird Chair loads at 6:15PM.
The spectacular fireworks show will follow shortly after the Light Parade.
