Spring Skiing and Après Ski Lake Tahoe

cocktails at bar

March came in like a lion to Lake Tahoe, with a storm that delivered 10 feet of snow in the area ski resorts. We are expecting more rounds of storms over the last week of March, which means spring skiing at Lake Tahoe will be epic! Palisades Tahoe extended their closing date to July 2nd, and other resorts will be open until the end of April and beginning of May.

In addition to less crowds and longer daylight hours, more comfortable weather means that many people wear interesting costumes as they ski and ride through the mountains. After a day of skiing, Après Ski specials at the various resorts and restaurants are a perfect way to relax and unwind with friends.

Here are a few of Lake Tahoe’s best Après Ski venues:

PALISADES TAHOE | UNCORKED

Located within Palisades Tahoe, Uncorked is perfect for Après Ski if you are looking for a delicious glass of wine after the slopes. The atmosphere is cozy and mellow, with a knowledgeable staff to help you choose a glass, bottle, or wine tasting that you’ll love. Uncorked often has specials that include cheese plates or date night deals. You might also enjoy 12 beers on tap and nachos at Rocker, or a quaint Irish atmosphere at the Auld Dubliner. They also offer relaxed dining choices, perfect for a stress-free nightlife in Northstar. Click here for more Northstar Après Ski venues.
